3M™ polyurethane protective tape is the best paint and stone chip protection tape on the market. From the industry-leading 3M™ technologies this Heli-Tape was originally designed for use in aerospace! An outdoor-grade polyurethane protective tape with high shear acrylic adhesive. Very tough thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer designed for outdoor applications. Be aware of cheap inferior imitations, buy cheap buy twice!
How to apply:
- Trim to size with a sharp pair of scissors or knife
- Ensure the areas of application are clean and grease-free.
- Remove the backing tape slowly as you apply the tape.
- Gently smooth down to remove any small bubbles and ensure edges are smoothed out and fully stuck down.
- For the best adhesion, the tape and paintwork should be at room temperature (approx. 20 degrees Celsius or above) and applied with a firm application pressure to ensure a better bond.
- A hair drier can be used to get the tape to temperature and help remove any creases in the tape.
