Specifications:

1 x Campy style 1 1/8" Upper Bearing (MH-P08F aka TH870E)
1 x 1.5" Lower Bearing (MH-P16 aka TH070 )

Compatible with all Specialized Turbo Levo Frames. All specs including‚ ‚ Elite, Carbon, Comp, Pro, S- Works, Fattie, 29er,‚ 27.5‚ ‚ etc.‚ or any other headset with the same dimension bearings.

Material Upgrades

Black Oxide Coating

  • Enhanced Corrosion Resistance: Black oxide provides a protective layer that helps prevent rust and oxidation, which can extend the life of the part, especially in humid or corrosive environments.

  • Reduced Wear: The coating reduces friction between metal surfaces, which minimizes wear and tear. This is particularly important for bearings, as they are subjected to constant motion and load.

  • Improved Durability: By forming a stable layer on the surface of the metal, black oxide increases the part's resistance to fatigue and mechanical damage.

  • Reduced Service Time Less likely to fuse to the frame and headset housing allowing for easy replacement when the time comes.

Stainless Steel

  • High Chromium Content (16-18%): The chromium forms a protective layer, making the material highly resistant to rust, corrosion, and oxidation.

  • Corrosion Resistance in Wet Conditions: 440C stainless steel performs particularly well in poor, wet, or marine conditions, where moisture can cause rust in less resistant materials.

  • High Hardness: After heat treatment, 440C can reach a high level of hardness (Rockwell hardness in the upper 50s to low 60s), making it suitable for applications requiring wear resistance.

  • Reduced Service Time Less likely to fuse to the frame and headset housing allowing for easy replacement when the time comes.
